Maggie Mae Domestic Shorthair Female 11 years old 11 lbs. Hello, I'm Maggie Mae. I'm a beautiful girl who would be so thankful for a wonderful forever home. I've had a hard go of it lately. My owner died and I wound up in a shelter. I much prefer a home to a shelter! And I'm so grateful to be in a foster home now with PawsCo. I'm still figuring out how to trust new humans and I'm spending a lot of my time hiding and a bit wary of the world. But I am making more and more progress each day with building that trust and I would do so well in a quiet, adult only home where I can learn what it means to be loved again. I do need a human with a lot of patience who is ok with me just having my space and slowly helping me accept love. I'm quite proud of my excellent litter box habits and I've perfected finding the best napping spots around the house! And I think I could live nicely with a really easy going dog who gives me the space I need. I haven't met other cats so I can't share how I would do with cat friends. I'm a gentle girl who needs a quiet, loving home where I can feel safe and learn to relax into my golden years.
