About Arlo

Meet Arlo! He is a tiny little chihuahua mix weighing in at just under 6 pounds, approximately 5 years old. Can you believe this little nugget was found abandoned in a box?? Since arriving at his foster home, Arlo acts like he owns the place! He is great with the 8 other small dogs in the home, and even great with the cats! He also adores foster mom's 4-year-old grandson. If you can't find Arlo, chances are he is burrowed under a blanket on the couch, so watch out where you sit! He seems to think that every blanket he sees is HIS and loves to burrow right on in! Arlo appears to be housetrained as well, as foster mom has not seen him have any accidents in the house and he loves going out in her fenced backyard. He has become attached to foster mom pretty quickly and may growl at strangers at first, but we are completely confident that he will attach to his new adopter/family just as quickly, so do not be deterred if he is a bit growly and unsure at first. Give him some time to decompress and he will be the best friend you have ever had! Arlo is currently fostering in Mount Carmel, PA.
