Howdy! You are Texan, right? Because I am open to all types of humans and I'm not really a picky pup but, I'm sure'nuff only interested in a home that is in Texas. Oh, and do you drive a pick-up truck? And do you wear a cowboy hat? Boots? Beer? Red solo cups? Country music? Is football your religion? If you answered yes, you are Clem approved. Everyone knows that you're not a true Texan until you've owned a Chihuahua. And bless your heart if you haven't. Luckily for both of us, that's just what I am- a 4-month-old-perfectly bronzed brown Chihuahua. God blessed me just as much as He blessed Texas.My favorite thing to do is to hang- I like to hang in the passenger seat of your pick-up truck, (I'll even ride co-pilot if I must), I like to hang on the sofa while we watch the Cowboys lose every single time, I like to hang next to your cold Budweiser beer can while you cook us up some of that notorious Texas chili, and I love long road trips. But please, for Pete's sake, don't cross our state lines. I've heard the outside of Texas world is pretty depressing and that non-Texans act like they just fell off the turnip truck, so I'd just rather turn our car right on around and stay in the promised land. Otherwise, you might catch me sweating like a 'bad girl' in church. Now, if we are going to have a real, honest relationship, there are a few things you should know. I'm pretty itsy bitsy so I like to pretend I'm tougher than I really am- because deep down, I'm a big ol' softie. Daddy likes to say I wouldn't bite a biscuit. I have a good bark, but zero bite. That's why I pack heat. There's no calling 911 for this Chihuahua- you can hang your hat on that one. And that's also why I prefer the big trucks with the big lifted tires. And I do like a lap- child's or adult's - doesn't matter as long as it is a comfy Texas lap. That's where I feel my most at home. And I do promise that once we share a meal, I'll never leave your side. Texans are loyal and I'm no exception. I'm ready and rarin' to go. Are you? I'm fixin'to download George Strait's Greatest Hits. And if you argue that Luke Bryan is real country, well, it might be time for you to paint your fanny white and run with the antelope because he is NOT real country. I trust that boy as far as I can throw him. Listen, I smell what you're stepping in but he's dumber than a box of rocks. He uses hair gel for God's sake! So, George Strait it will be. Sure glad we settled that one. Can't wait to meet ya'. I'll be here waitin'.
