He found himself in a homeless shelter with his bonded friend. This morning they were scheduled to make the hour transport ride from shelter to rescue, but tragically Nick's friend passed away this morning before leaving the shelter. We are all devastated for them. Nick's friend's name was Tiki. Nick made the transport trip alone but arrived here safely (thanks to amazing volunteer Joe who drives animals from shelters to their rescues, saving Many Many lives. Upon arrival to HSARC, it was immediately noticed that he had a fluid filled mass under his chin- THE SIZE OF A SOFTBALL!! He was rushed to the veterinary office and with a stroke of luck, the doctor was able to drain the lump (it was an abscess) and Nick was able to come right back to his foster home! He has already made lots of doggie friends. Nick is an adult neutered male and is now available for Adoption!
