About SHEEBA

Siberian Husky / German Shepherd
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Courtesy Posting: SHEEBA Patterson, CA Very Urgent! Patterson, CA - Beautiful boy has no name but is being called Sheeba for now. He is about 1-2 years old, was found as a stray, covered in ticks and almost hit by a truck. Foster tried to find his owner to no avail. He was almost sent to a hi-kill shelter today but we were able to get him into a boarding kennel tomorrow. He can't stay there very long! Sheeba is about 60-75 lbs, one blue eye and one brown. He will be neutered for adoption. He gets excited when meeting new dogs and should be introduced slowly. He does not like small dogs that are yappy or aggressive but curious if they are respectful; chases cats. He pulls a bit when first going out on a walk but responds nicely to commands and likes to please. This boy is high energy as he is still very young but he mellows out quickly. Good daily exercise and experience with northern breeds would be helpful. He has been left alone in foster's yard with 6' fencing and no issues, no digging. He gets anxious if cooped up in a small place for too long and will whine and pace. He is not fearful but is cautions when meeting new people. He is playful and curious, happy with kids too. He seems to be lacking good training overall but he is intelligent and very eager to please and learn. He loves to play and get attention. With some training and socializing he would love to have other dogs to play with. Foster believes he spent his life tied to a rope. He is very sweet and will absolutely make a good companion with someone who is willing to put in some effort to help teach him some manners and social skills. This boy needs to run, hike and get daily exercise. No small dogs, cats or children please. Someone who is around a lot. If interested in giving this beautiful boy a safe and secure home, please contact Pamela Jo at: [email protected] for more information. Time is of the essence! We can't keep him in a kennel for more than a few weeks.
