About Diego

Diego was found running around a neighborhood a few weeks ago. He was taken in by a nice family who put up posters and we helped post him on the lost dog sites, but unfortunately nobody has come forward for him. He is the most darling, sweetest boy. He is probably 9-12 months old and weighs about 12 pounds. He was pretty skinny when he was found so he may gain a pound or two as he gains back the weight he lost being out as a stray. He loves to give give you kisses, he loves to be held, he loves to cuddle. He appears potty trained, and crate trained. He would be a great dog if you have kids, he is super friendly after the initial meeting. He gets along well with other dogs too. Also knows some basic cues. He's got the longest legs and the cutest little face. He's going to make some family super joyful. He's just happy and so fun to be around. If you are interested, let us know! We will be setting up meetings with a $50 deposit that goes towards your adoption fee if you adopt. You will need to do video of interior and exterior of home in lieu of the homecheck. We are a FORCE FREE rescue. The adoption contract you will be signing specifically states that you agree to NEVER use any aversive methods nor tools like a shock, prong or choke collar. We are never sure about breed because we do not do DNA (we make our best guess), so if that is important to you, this dog may not be the right choice for you. Please, consider everything when making a decision to adopt a dog. As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip, and be spayed/neutered. You may need to come back to us to complete shots, spay or neuter, hw test. You will receive 6 mths of HW preventative.You will receive a free bag of premium food, as well as a gift card from Choice Pet Market if you live in one of the designated zip codes . Training is MANDATORY and will be scheduled at a later date and place.
