About Bandit

Adoption Fee: $200.00
Australian Shepherd
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

My name is Bandit and I am coming up on my 1st birthday which is April 21st. I came to my mom at 7 weeks old. We bonded and I only had eyes for her. When my mom took me around strangers I would hide and be shy. Then as I got to be about 6 months old I started growling and snarling at strangers and some people I have seen before. I am not sure if I am protecting my mom or I just don't like other people. Then I started being aggressive with my baby rottweiler brother. I don't give him a chance. I always want to show him that I am boss. I do ok with my lil' older sister Lola but I think that's because it's grandma's baby and I don't mess with grandma. It's important to me that I protect my food from anyone trying to eat at or near my bowl. No no no....don't do it! I will snarl and growl and pounce on you if necessary. I started showing my teeth, growling and even lunging at my mom. When she tells me to behave then I get more mad. She is now scared to be alone with me. Plus she won't leave me alone with my brother or sister. My favorite thing to do is chase my herding ball. If I even see it through the window I will bark like crazy until I have it. I love to be active. I will bring you toys to play tug-awar and fetch. I get excited just thinking about it. When I want loved on I will crawl up in your lap like a baby puppy for snuggles. Don't mind my 55 lb body size. Lol Also, if you walk near me and I am laying down I will likely roll over so you can pet my belly. I love car rides, being active and cuddles. I wish my mom wasn't scared of me but I understand. She even had the audacity to have me neutered in hopes of it taking some of my aggression out of me. Nope, didn't work! I hope to find a home that can train me properly and show me how to behave like a grown up dog when I am around people. I also hope to find someone with acreage that I can run freely on. Sincerely, Bandit aka Bandito
