About Gracy

EXTREMELY URGENT: Video also included. Everyone this is Gracy and she needs our help!! This is what the shelter wrote about her, 'Gracy is a one of a kind gal. We want to see her rescued so she can high-tail it out of here already! Gracy is a beautiful 11-year-old lady who weighs 65 lbs and has been at the shelter since coming in as an owner surrender on 9/3/20. Initially quite nervous at the shelter, Gracy has really come out of her shell. Volunteers are rooting for this smiley pup-at-heart, who is affectionate and loves belly rubs! Gracy is treat motivated, and will happily trade you a 'sit' or a 'paw' for a snack. She's easy to leash and has done well meeting other dogs at the shelter. Prior to coming into the shelter, Gracy was involved in a bite incident that occurred after she was cuddled by a family member of her previous owners. Due to this, she is RESCUE ONLY. Her previous owners, who had Gracy since she was a puppy, shared that she was friendly and outgoing, gentle in play with adults, and she also lived with another large female dog. It seems the family also had a new baby in the home. Medical: worn teeth, opacity in both eyes, per prev. owner has an enlarged heart.' It is unfortunate that the child who tried to cuddle with her without her consent put her in this situation! Now shes in danger of being put down!! I want to come save her life but need a committed foster or better yet an adopter! Gracy is good with other dogs and would do best with older kids, who would respect her space.
