About Lucky

Lucky is a handsome 4 1/2 year old Chihuahua/Terrier mix who is looking for the perfect forever home. Lucky is a timid boy and is in search of a forever home with no children under the age of 18. Lucky starts his big city adventure and search for a forever family who understands his quirks. Lucky is shy with new people and likes to make friends on his time instead of being rushed. He is very food motivated and will quickly make his way to you for gentle pets and tasty treats. Lucky does not like loud noises and quick movements, so he would love a calm and gentle home. Lucky prefers to be the only dog so that he can have all the love and be the center of attention. If going with another canine he will need an easy going, laid back companion who he can meet first. Lucky is housebroken, walks well on the leash, and knows 'stay and come'. Lucky weighs 15 pounds full grown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. His adoption fee of $240 includes a complimentary vet visit. To potentially adopt him, come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 10 people in the building at a time.
