About Almond Joy

Adoption Fee: $250.00
Boxer / Black Mouth Cur
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Almond Joy is a female Boxer/Black Mouth Cur Mix born 11/22/2018 . She is medium sized girl weighing about 45 pounds. This loving dog s a medium energy girl who will want to cuddle during a movie and take a ride for errands. She loves to go places in the car and for leash walks. She is a sensitive but easy going girl. Almond Joy has been friendly towards her original and foster family and any people she has met. She lost her home due to job loss from COVID-19. She has done fine with people, but starts out shy and tentative. She needs time to relax. When worried she goes to her crate to lie down and wag her tail at the new people. She has gotten along with dogs of all sizes but prefers small dogs or laid back larger dogs. She should not be in a home with chickens or fowl as she has been know to disgrace herself with a duck incident. She has not been with cats, so should probably not be in a home with them. Almond Joy rides well in the car and loves to go anywhere she can. She has good manners, walks nicely on the leash, is crate trained and house trained. She is looking for a quiet, easy-going family with home that only has the occasional visitor and a fenced in yard. The adoption fee for Almond Joy is $250. This covers her exam, spay, up-to-date vaccines, worming, heart worm prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip.
