About Mashoogana

Born Feb. 01, 2020 43lbs. Spayed female. We are looking to rehome our dog. Specifically to a farm/ work life environment. She is a motivated working dog and craves that environment. Father (Australian Shepherd) bison herder in Idaho Mother (border collie) farm guard She's agile, sporty, and bold. Eager to please and waits for the next command. Cares more for a quiet life. In large groups of people or dogs- she's content with being off at a distance observing. She doesn't engage much a dog parks. Dog or people she just waits for the next ball/ frisbee. LOVES launching herself into the water. Always the hit at the dog park with her jumps, twists, and turns. She's ran beside four-wheelers and snow-mobiles throughout her life. Tricks/ commands Sit, stay, down, paw/ shake, catch, go find _toy_, know eight different toy names, load up (getting into car), off, let's go (get moving) pretty bird (working on balancing while sitting on hind legs), leave it, watch (eye contact) No destructive behavior when alone. Only towards her toys. Hates loud sounds. No issue with being left alone in car. She has bite me and my boyfriend- separate occasions. One instance I didn't have a leash and needed to guide her back to the car by collar- she didn't want to go. She is bold and stands her ground and at times she can be protective of food or toys. Using redirection has worked in the past. She is a snarky one. Needs clear communication and boundaries.
