About Prescott

Hi - My name is Prescott & I have been at the shelter for 7 months! Can you believe that? I am a playful & goofy boy who LOVES his humans. My other great joy in life is getting treats for being a good boy! I am a quick learner & love to be rewarded for good behavior. I am a big goofy guy who needs a loving, yet firm handler to help me be the best I can be. That being said, there are some things that make me uncomfortable that only you can help me with. I don't do well around other animals & get a bit nervous, so please don't let me be around them! Same goes for kids. As with strangers, I will need to be introduced slowly in a comfortable environment. So - if you can respect my boundaries there, we will be a great match. In fact, I'm the type of dog that likes to choose his own human. So if I think we vibe, you'll know it right away. Can you be the kind-hearted human that takes my needs seriously? My dream is to live a long, happy life in a forever home & never ever have to come back to the shelter.
