About Ricky & Rocky

Say hello to our sweet, loving Ricky & Rocky! They are a bonded pair just 2 years old that were returned to their foster Mama because, sadly, their adoptive Mama was unable to keep them. They love to cuddle each other and bathe each other, and both are constant little purr machines! Ricky is the tabby/white boy with the magical, hypnotic green eyes and Rocky is the black and white boy with the adorable white tip on his tail. Rocky loves to prance around with that tail straight up and use that white tip as a flag to get attention and extra pets from whoever might be near. When he wants cuddles he will walk up to you and then just fall over on his side as if he had been pushed, and then pull your hand to him with both front paws so that you have no choice but to stroke his silky white fur. Ricky is smart as a whip! In fact, I have never known a cat that is so smart and I have no doubt that he could be trained to do almost anything with ease! He loves to jump on to your lap and put his paw gently on your face as he stares into your eyes in what I'm sure is an attempt to communicate and tell you something. I think sometimes he just wants some pets; sometimes he wants to make sure you know he loves you, and sometimes he wants you to watch him play! Sometimes he wants you to throw his toy or ball so he can fetch it for you! Sometimes he loves to hunt his bird toy, or mouse, and you will often find him walking through the house with his toy prey in his mouth, meowing as loudly as he can with a mouth full, showing off what a big bad hunter-cat he is! Rocky is a little more independent than Ricky, but he loves to cuddle a LOT. He loves to play chase with Ricky and his foster brothers, and he will sometimes jump straight up in the air and overtop of whoever is chasing him to avoid being caught. He loves chasing his feather toy. His foster home has an outdoor enclosure (catio) and he loves to sit out there in the mornings listening to the birds and watching the sun come up. He loves to help Mommy with the laundry, and help Daddy with his morning chores. Both boys love to eat and Ricky is the first one to let you know if breakfast or dinner is late! They probably won't do well in a home with small children, as their foster parents are a quiet older couple so loud noises may scare them.
