Kane, which in welsh means warrior, earned his name by breaking free from the horrible past he used to live! This sweet boy has spent his entire life on a chain tied to a tree in a backyard in rural North Carolina. Now this two-year-old, 65 lb. pittie is in Connecticut ready to find his happily furever after! Being an outdoor dog his whole life, Kane's finally adjusting to life inside a home. Like most pit bulls, this guy LOVES love! He is as affectionate as can be and will jump up and give you a hug, while gently licking your hand. Kane knows he's finally safe and will thank you for years to come. In addition to being a cuddler, he loves a game of fetch and running around the yard. He is an energetic boy who enjoys car rides, hikes in the great outdoors, belly rubs, and laying in the sun! He is still learning how to 'dog' so he would benefit from some training classes. Kane's currently in a home with children so we believe he'll be fine with kids 8+ as long as they're dog savvy. He is not a fan of other dogs so he must be your one and only. You MUST have a fenced yard to be considered for his adoption and experience is highly preferred. Kane's adoption fee is $350 and he is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered.
