About Zoe

Zoe is a very sweet and loving 4 year old husky mix. My husband and I have had Zoe for about three years, but unfortunately she has began to become aggressive with our other female dog. Zoe is great with all people, including our one-year-old. She has only been aggressive to two out of many dogs we have been around. Also, Zoe didn't start being aggressive first in either of these situations, but starts the aggression back up and both are other females. Zoe will run around and play all day but she also loves to be lazy in her bed. She's a kisser and always ready to get pets. She's very submissive to people and will usually roll right on her back when walked up to. When we rescued Zoe, we were told she was going to be used for breeding until they found out she wasn't a full husky. They told us she was very nervous around people but took to us really well. We did noticed she would become nervous around new people after we brought her home, mostly men, but this stopped about a year after having her. She now runs to anyone and is very friendly towards them. Zoe does run after small animals because she loves the chase, which is why we think she'd be great for a family that hunts. Zoe doesn't have the normal 'husky howl' and is actually pretty quiet. Zoe needs space to run and is used to an electric fence. She is honestly such a sweet girl and deserves a good life. Zoe would be a great family dog because she does love kiddos but would also be a great companion for a single household, she just needs to be the only animal in the house.
