About Penelope

Penelope is a bit shy but is such a sweet girl! She has come such a long way since she arrived at the shelter. She loves being around people but is still a little unsure about it at times. Once she does come up to you she absolutely enjoys being petted on. She will practically bend herself in half wanting you to pet her head and give her booty scratches. She is a loving little girl that has a mild-mannered personality and is starting to come out of her shell more and more. She gets along great with other dogs as well. She can be a little shy with them at first but will warm up. While she mostly enjoys just sharing the space with another dog, she does have moments where she gets super excited and will get the zooms showing that she wants to play. Penelope is a female about 9-months-old and while we don't know exactly what her breed is she looks like she could be mixed with an Australian Kelpie. She will be spayed and microchipped before going home and will stay at the shelter until she has been spayed. She is current on her vaccinations, flea, and parasite prevention.
