Mama Mia! ROXIE (MAMA) (ID #A1970246) is full of moxie; she's as cute as a button; she's playful; and, boy, is she smart! She is so smart, in fact, that she counts the seconds it takes to hand over a treat, and if you take too long, she'll yell (bark) at you to be quicker. First, though, she'll show you her command skills. ROXIE is also 'Rescue-Only.' Say what?! Well, her human said, when ROXIE was being relinquished to the East Valley Animal Shelter, Van Nuys, CA, that she doesn't like small dogs, and that when a small dog injured itself, ROXIE 'picked up on it and reacted w/aggression. Other dog severely injured!' [See the Dog Interview, attached.] Per the Dog Interview, her human said that ROXIE had never bitten anyone, but someone else apparently said otherwise, so ROXIE was quarantined. You will also see noted on the Dog Interview that 2-year-old ROXIE is 'scared of large dogs.'
