About Luigi

My name is Luigi and I was brought to the shelter by a concerned citizen who found me sneezing blood from my nose. Turns out I only had an upper respiratory infection and not some kind of injury. Now I have tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, been vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. I still have a slight nasal discharge that basic antibiotics and lysine have not completely cleared up so I cannot be adopted out to just anyone from this shelter. I came from a small town where there are community cats. The fella who brought me in never came to get me after saying he would so the shelter contacted a community cat caretaker from the same town and she agreed to take him. But it took less than 24 hours before she brought me back because I was bullying her other cats. Now here I am with no place to go. A farm home is a possibility but who would watch for my nasal issues to return if they do not get cleared up before I go? Besides, this shelter has recently maxed out its farm homes after having to relocate a community colony of about 18 cats. I am very friendly, love attention from people, am very laid back, and, might I say, very handsome. I need a rescue to take me where I could get some additional testing to see what might get me 100% better or maybe even an individual with no other cats who could provide additional care, a second opinion from a vet about what might help me, or an individual who would take me as I am.
