Jack is a very energetic full Dalmatian. He has been through 5 homes and has lived with me the longest. Unfortunately I am being forced to downsize due to the pandemic economics and where I am going he is not allowed. He's a great dog, house broken and very obedient once he knows who is in charge. He is never crated and shouldn't be, he has a history of bad crate issues. He does fine up to 7 or 8 hours on his own alone OCCASIONALLY!!! but leaving him alone 7 to 8 hours daily is NOT an ideal daily living condition for him. He is extremely friendly with most people but I strongly suggest you allow him to come to you and not the other way around. I would not allow him in a home with small children or other pets without EXTREMELY CLOSE SUPERVISION AND EXTREMELY QUICK RESPONSE he would not do well in a situation where kids might not be dog trained and a little 'too handsy'. He is good at the dog parks but he is a very aggressive player!! He needs a constant large outdoor space to constantly run off energy and explore. HE IS NOT A SIT IN THE HOUSE AND BE PRETTY DOG, HE GETS VERY DEPRESSED IF HE IS NOT SPENDING HIS ENERGY CONSTANTLY!!! SO essentially: 1. no kids 2. a home with NO other dog's cat's or pets 3. he's a young dog and needs someone to keep him active and involved MOST of the waking hours of the day.
