About Brutus

A plea went out for a tiny pup as the only surviving puppy of a mom in the shelter who had no milk and the pup was suffering! I had a nursing mom at home and answered their plea and they immediately organized a transport to our rescue vet! When he arrived it was determined he was very undernourished and loaded with hooks rounds and tapes and suffering gor it ... and he was dehydrated! He got some fluids on board and some deworming meds in his belly and home he came! I named him Brutus because I thought the tiny scrawny pup needed a strong name! I didn't even have to put him on my nursing mom as he loved our puppy kibble and the kefir and he had no problem filling his belly. He just needed time for the nutrients to be absorbed and turn his situation around! That was about a month ago and little Brutus has made a complete turn around and is actually an active little pistol pup.. just as pups should be! Brutus is around 9# now and about 8 weeks old and he is ready to take on the world! Brutus or Brute (Bru-tay) as I often call him is very playful and would love an active home! We are only adopting to CT residents at this time!
