About Penny

Penny is very loving and affectionate with those who she knows and trusts. She loves napping and snuggling. She is very polite, is house trained, does not get on furniture unless she is invited, and knows basic commands. She is more comfortable with women but warms up to men who are willing to be patient and respect her need for time. Once she warms up to you, she'll want to snuggle with you non stop. She does not do well with new people and needs to be introduced slowly and new people need to be aware of her anxiety. Penny loves walks but other dogs are very scary for her. She LOVES her human children but their friends scare her when they get wild and so we are looking to rehome her to a quiet, low traffic, adult only home. Penny truly is a wonderful girl she just needs a bit more peace and quiet in her life. Penny would benefit from meeting her new people once or twice before making the move. Penny has a sensitive stomach and skin so she has to eat gluten free food. 'Adoption fee' includes all of the food and toys that she currently has.
