About Koa

Koa is a wonderful dog. He is almost 2 years old. I just recently adopted him April Fools:) I was told that he is great at staying home in his crate by himself. Well...that is not the case, he has serious separation anxiety. He needs/wants to be with people. Once he realizes he is alone in the house..YIKES.. if he is in his crate he will try to get out, if not in his crate he will start chewing on well, almost anything :) He is fully crate and potty trained. He sleeps in his crate, or during the day, I can put him in his crate. If you are not watching him, and he gets bored, he will find something to chew on. (that is not his toys) He is an absolute amazing dog. Just has a lot of energy to let out. Needs to learn some more manners and more basic training, he really really is a smart and wonderful dog. Recall is even good! Just needs to work on it a lot more. He has VERY selective hearing ;) I know he would do better in a 2 dog house. I cannot get another dog. I already have 2 cats. He gets along great with them, he has learned boundaries. I am rehoming because it is the best for koa! I am going to be VERY picky who he goes to, it has to be the right fit. It must be a stable household, with the humans being home pretty much all the time. He is amazing and smart and deserves the very best! He will come with all of his belongings. (food, (special diet, he has a very sensitive tummy royal canin food $$$), flea meds, toys. SERIOUS inquiries only, he is a very special boy, and needs lots of love and attention, someone who is home a lot very stable household and needs to have another dog!! NO exceptions.
