Lawrenceville, GA Meet Elliot,.... Ohh what can I say... The most perfect dog. Ellie is a 2 year old, 45 to 50 lbs Plott Hound. You see and you hear the hound ;-) She gets along with people and dogs. Never met a stranger, is the most affectionate dog. Off leash obedient, house trained and rides great in the car. and!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. We do not know how she is with cats. This girl is a dream!!!! Elliot was found in October 2020 by a landscaper. She was so extremely under weight and curled up in the dirt, weak and ready to die. She is not a dog who runs away. Someone intentionally starved her and dumped her. The man took her in and together with his fiance nursed her back to health. Ellie also tested positive for heartworms and is currently in her treatment which is fully covered by our organization. She will finish her treatment with flying colors as she is young and will not have any remaining damage to her body. Unfortunately as more as Elliot gained her health and strength back as more their 9 year old male dog wasn't having it and became aggressive towards Ellie. The couple feared for her safety and reached out to us.... how could we say NO? Look at her.... Ellie has been with us since.. and she couldn't be any easier.
