About Ruthie or 'Roo'

Roo was found on the streets pregnant with 11 puppers about 6 months ago. She has since nursed her puppies, healed through illnesses and infections and is currently a happy, healthy, loving dog. Roo really blossomed into her energetic self after I realized the severity of her infections and she went through the appropriate treatments. Because of this, I realize now, a few months later, she's not actually very well matched for my lifestyle because I live in a condo and Roo needs a place to run and be free. Because of this, preference is given to households with fenced backyards. Roo loves and needs exercise, training, playing and cuddling daily. Her new household will need to understand the commitment of training, exercising, and be a gentle and loving friend and playmate to Ruthie (if other dogs are in the household, this could be great but will need to be discussed - same with kids to ensure they know how to play gently with Ruthie). I'm picky about rehoming Ruthie, but if you're the right fit, all I can say is that you are very very lucky people. This is a wonderful dog and a wonderful friend. Ruthie is about 50 pounds and I am guessing from my research that she is a Pointer mix. She is extremely beautiful and more pics and videos can be provided upon request.
