This sweet kitten is Willow, a Siamese mix who was abandoned in South Texas as a very tiny baby with a serious eye infection. Found by a kind human who reached out to us, we arranged for he to go to a specialized foster home for bottle feeding and medical care. After she was big enough to eat on her own she was placed with a vet because we thought she would lose her eyesight. Thank Goodness the vet managed to save her eyesight. She has a little bit of scarring on her eyes. Willow does everything a normal kitten would do. She is a bit sensitive to bright lights which will make her eyes water a little. Evaluated by our vet, he released her for adoption this week. Like most hand raised babies, Willow is super affectionate, loves to be carried around, patted, loved on and played with. She has a special friend in her foster home, another SOS Comfort Kitty and they run all over, climb the climbing structures, jump from shelf to shelf, and sit up high watching everything that goes one. Willow loves to chase balls, her friend and the laser light. Then she snuggles up with her foster family for love and cuddles. She has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Willow is about 11to 12 weeks old as of April 6. Just like the other kitten in her foster home, Willow loves to chase the feather wand, a laser, chase and swat balls with bells in them and throw rubber mice up in the air. To adopt Willow you need 3 personal references, a veterinary reference, a completed adoption application, an adoption contract and a donation towards care and costs of $200. She can travel along the 1-35 in Texas for a small donation with one of our adoption partners. Out of state adoptions can be arranged if the adoption works out the details.
