About Sweet Pea

Catahoula / German Shepherd
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

Meet Binks, Sweet Pea, and Rosie! These three Catahoula Leopard Dog/Shepherd mix siblings are nine weeks old and will be large dogs when full grown. Sweet Pea and Rosie are sweet little girls with black and tan coats. Their brother, Binks, is mostly black with brindle brown paws. All the pups are happy, healthy and very playful with sweet personalities. A person or family with children over five that enjoy an active lifestyle are best suited for these pups. Preferably, with someone that is not gone for long periods of time. Pups this young need plenty of playtime and exercise. They would not be happy if left in a crate all day. Binks, Sweet Pea and Rosie are energetic fun-loving pups that love toys, treats, and mischief! Playtime is full of tackles, interceptions, and fouls as each runs to grab their favorite toy. All the pups are just the right age to begin housetraining and learning some basic obedience. Another doggie pal within the home would help to show them the ropes and keep them entertained. Of course, if you don't currently own a dog, you can always adopt two! A fenced in yard will make housetraining much easier and give them a safe place to play when outside. Binks, Sweet Pea and Rosie are beautiful pups that will be fabulous family pets. Siblings Astoria & Waldorf are thirteen week old Beagle mixes that were surrendered to us by their owner after the landlord informed them no pets were allowed. Beagles are one of the most popular breeds for families with children because of their friendly affectionate nature. These two cuties are bouncing little bundles of love and simply adorable. Astoria is a tricolor beauty and weighs sixteen pounds. Her handsome brother Waldorf is black and tan and weighs almost seventeen pounds. Their short coats are remarkably easy to care for and require minimal grooming; but they do shed. Both will be medium size dogs when full grown. They are cheerful pups that thrive on attention and prefer company. If left alone for too long it may lead to excessive barking and unwanted behavior. These chunky monkeys have boundless energy and a nose for mischief. They love playing with anything that shakes, rattles, or rolls and sometimes even a box will do. Be prepared to help them work on their manners and housetraining. Daily walks are a must and a fenced in yard will give them somewhere to play safely. They are hound dogs, so it's in their nature to roam. Astoria and Waldorf love playing with other dogs too. We prefer they have a canine playmate in their new homes. If you do not currently own another playful young pup, perhaps you might consider adopting them both. Cats are a mystery to them but we can test that for you too. Of course, both are still young enough to be trained to respect a feline housemate. Astoria and Waldorf are looking for fun-loving families that enjoy an active lifestyle. If that sounds like you, please submit your application today. To adopt, please go to hsnwga.org, click 'Adoption', then 'Application for Adoption' to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact applicants that best meet the needs of the pet.
