About Diega

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] I am need of help with Diega. Diega was my parent's dog for 6 years in Mexico. They have retired there. After an incident with her injuring a smaller dog when they both were loose she needed to move out of the neighborhood. Since we foster dogs, we offered to take her in and find a new forever home for her. I would love to keep her but one, I can't trust her around my small dogs. She did attack our small female dog after a growling match. This was my mistake in letting them get together. The other reason we can't take her on permanently is we have already had a few foster fails and the house is full. In an ideal world Diega would find a person without other dogs that she can build a bond with. She does like to choose a person in the household and that is her person. I think someone very experienced in dog behavior and the breed would not have an issue with another large dog in the home. Diega does like to be told the rules. Diega had seizures when she was young, but has been medicated and hasn't had once since the medication started years ago. I will also let everyone know we did have a adoption for her that worked well for about a month, but unfortunately it wasn't the correct fit and they had issues bringing her back to me. This dog is special. All she wants is a person she can love unconditionally. If anyone know of someone please pass this along. We would also look for another foster since she does not work with my smaller dogs, but I feel bad she has been moving around so much.
