About Honey

Lab mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Name: Honey Age: 1-2 years old Gender: female Breed: lab terrier mix Honey was adopted about a 1 1/2 ago, but was sadly returned due to her anxiety around children. Honey would do best in a home with no children due to her anxiety and fear of them. She came to us very anxious and nervous, but has been doing fantastic with her loving foster family. She is very shy in the beginning and will take time to warm up. She will warm up to females a bit faster then men. It has taken her a couple weeks to come out of her shell, but when she does she is super loving. She loves to be pet, cuddle, and snuggle up to you. She is in foster with another dog and does good with them, with a proper introduction. She is doing really well with her house training, she is crate trained, up to date on shots, and spayed. She walks well on a leash, but will not do well in a city environment as she gets nervous around large number of cars and areas with busy traffic. She needs someone who is patient and willing to continue socializing her and working with her. Honey has one eye due to a traumatic injury she had when she was a puppy, due to the severity of the issue her eye had to be removed.
