About Sugar

Tina, Turner, Ike and Sugar are adorable eleven-week-old roly-poly puppies. There are two boys and two girls. All weigh less than ten pounds and will be medium size dogs when full grown. We're scratching our heads on identifying this litter's breed. Our headliner, Tina looks like a German Wirehaired Pointer/Flat-coated Retriever mix. She has a scruffy brown and white coat and beautiful amber eyes. Her brother Ike, however, looks completely the opposite. He has a coal black coat and short stocky legs. Obviously, there is some Corgi in their ancestry too. Ike is also not as scruffy as his other littermates. His sister, Sugar, is another short little low-rider with a scruffy black coat. She has a tiny white star on her chest and ears that haven't quite decided which way they will go. Turner is by far the shortest member of his family and has a longer scruffy black coat. One thing they all have in common is their affectionate personalities and love for play. An active family with children would best suit this bunch. They need someone that has time to train and play with them. They are just the right age to begin housetraining and will need a fenced in yard. All would do well with a canine playmate to help keep them entertained. Of course, puppies this young can also be trained to be respectful around cats.
