Tucker is a very large German Short-haired Pointer mix who is a 'loveable goofball' according to his favorite vet. He's a good natured dog that enjoys being outside when he's with someone. He's used to a fenced in yard. He is house trained, but needs work with counter surfing, garbage can diving and eating tissues and toilet paper. I'm not sure how he is with smaller children since there aren't any in the family. He generally loves other people and dog, but thinks ground moles are chew toys. He has not been around cats but his vet advises he not be placed with them due to his heightened prey drive. He does like to talk and is very funny. He still chases his tail. I got him as a puppy shortly after I became disabled and still have issues with walking him. He does intimidate some women with his size and will take advantage of this if allowed to do so. I can, and have, pulled items out of his mouth on several occasions. He's on a diet of Purina One Select salmon and rice due to skin allergies. He will be 6 years old on July 4th. I am getting married and moving to a smaller house with cats. Tucker is simply too large for the house and living outside is his only option if I take him with me. He needs an active person who knows how to handle larger dogs. He is 110 pounds currently. He does like to snuggle on the sofa but sleeps in his crate at night or when no one is home. He's very good about his crate.
