About Buddy

Buddy is a BIG boy, at 10 weeks and 19 lbs! We think he may be mixed with Great Pyrenees, as he is such a big boy and he also has double dew claws on both hind paws. He is going to be a VERY large dog full grown! Buddy is a happy boy and is not phased by anything. He is very playful. A NOTE FROM HIS FOSTER: He's a confident puppy. With his size it's hard to keep in mind how young he is. Nothing phases him... not trash trucks, or traffic or the doorbell, or the vacuum, the wind, blowing leaves, swinging swings.... I've not found anything that gives him pause. He's also VERY exuberant. He's a very puppy puppy. Jumpy and very mouthy. We are working on that. He does great in his crate and playpen. He sleeps through the night so far from 10:30 to 6:30. He fusses to go out to potty if he's in his crate or playpen. He loves to play tug. I think he would be a difficult puppy to have in a house with young children. His size and energy level would make it tough. His new family will need to help him with the mouthiness/nipping and any dog in the home will need to be okay with a puppy still learning basic communication.
