About Atlas

Beautiful, big boy Atlas is just over 1yrs old and currently weighs 98lbs. We expect him to exceed 100lbs when fully grown. He is a very friendly, social boy that will be a wonderful family dog. He loves long walks, hiking trips and playing in the yard so an active family is required. He is a typical shepherd so can be somewhat protective of his family when other dogs visit in the home so he must be the only dog. He can also be very protective with random dogs when out on a walk so keeping his favorite ball with him on walks is a great distracting tool. When outdoors and away from his home, he does love to play with other large dogs after properly introduced He has great house manners and has some basic obedience but additional training will help him continue to be a well balanced pup. Because he is such a large boy, kids must be over 14yrs old and he MUST have a large breed, German Shepherd experienced home. He must also have a 6ft securely fenced yard... the bigger the better!
