Apologies for the blurry photo, but I couldn't get Maggie to pose . She was yet another of the 11 stray/abandoned kitties that showed up in my driveway five years ago. At first she was stand-offish, except at dinner time, but once I started paying special attention to her, she blossomed into a loving, playful, poised, calm dowager. Not at all shy about expressing her needs for attention, treats, and food preferences. Not a lap cat - but since I have so many cats that are, her independence is refreshing . She'll mix well in a home that already has cats, but she safeguards her 'personal space.' She likes cat trees and catnip, and will sometimes initiate playing with a jingle ball, batting it around the room. She makes steady eye contact and would be a delightful addition to an indoor only or indoor-outdoor environment. She stays in the yard and love sitting on a chair cushion. %81
