He hasn't had the best care when he was found as a stray. Poor Simon had some ear infections and skin infections that cause some puffiness you can see on his feet in the pictures. He's now doing much better and is healing nicely. Now, he waits in a kennel until placement can be found. Simon is about 10 years old and weighs almost 50 pounds. He just wants love and attention. He has a sparkly personality. We think he would do fine with kids over 8 and MAYBE even cats. We believe some dogs may like Simon. He's one of those dogs that meet another dog and just kind of instantly start playing too much and doesn't take the cues to stop. This may settle once in home. He would do fine as an only dog. Simon would be the dog that follows you around the house and happily curls up in a cozy pet bed waiting for your next move. He's a sweet companion for those who wish to help a senior for the remaining time he has left! Simon is up to date on vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He's had a senior blood panel and all sighs point to him being a healthy guy. He is hard of hearing at this stage in his life, but it doesn't seem to stop him.
