About GENE

Mixed breed 37 Lbs 3 yrs It's easy to become keen on GENE (ID #A1969752)! He's adorable, especially with his underbite and straggle tooth; he's lean; but, if he were human, you'd think he overdosed on caffeine. Yes, GENE is 3-years-old, but he has the energy of a puppy or two. GENE is at the East Valley Animal Shelter, Van Nuys, where he was taken by a person who caught him wandering the streets. That person held on to him for two days, and warned that he isn't good with other dogs. This spunky, 37-pounder would probably be best suited to a person/family who has a daily regimen of running/jogging that will be an outlet for GENE to burn off some energy, and who will provide him with whatever training he may require. When he does settle down, GENE enjoys snuggling and getting petted, and that's what, mostly, got me keen on GENE.
