About Daphne

Introducing Daphne!!! This 9-month-old little 20lb half pint is quite the supermutt! Her DNA tests say she is part Chihuahua, Pitbull, Lab and Dachshund (to name a few!)! This girl is sweet as can be but is very timid. She does warm up fast and once she does, will be your best friend! She loves steak and high value treats but if she is scared won't take them. It takes her about 10 minutes to warm up to an environment and then she is ready to go!! She loves to run and play ball! This girl has a lot of energy! She is fearful on a leash (which we are working on) but for now she needs a fenced in yard to exercise! She is good with respectful dogs but due to her timid nature, gets scared if an overzealous pup is in her face or jumping on her! She is also good with teens and older kids but would do best in a home with quiet older kids or adults rather than young kids! Likes belly rubs, kisses, and baby talk!! She really needs a family that will work with her to help her come out of her shell and gain some much-needed confidence!! We have already seen a huge difference in her personality since she came to us a week ago! She needs some training and leash manner work, and she does bark at strangers (not like I'm going to eat you, just scared of you.) She is potty trained and working on her crate manners.
