About Michi

**PLEASE READ MICHI'S BIO BEFORE INQUIRING.** This stunning little lady is Michi! Michi came to us as an owner surrender where she was left outside 24/7, never being allowed to come in and never getting any socialization. She basically would just live under the house for shelter which was in a not so nice neighborhood. We got her to the vet where she was found to not be spayed, covered in fleas and ticks, and had demodex mange. She is doing much better now and her hair is growing slowly but surely. She must continue with her medicated baths once a week for the next month or two. This little beauty is a 2-3 year old female, MinPin/Chihuahua mix that is about 9lbs. Due to Michi never having any socialization or even knowing what it was to be a loved pet, she is very timid and jumpy when it comes to noises and new people. In fact, she does have some fear of bigger sized men. We want Michi in a non chaotic and quiet home where she can acclimate slowly and at a pace she is comfortable with. She must go into an adult only home. If there is a man in the house, they need to be understanding and patient with the fact that she will be scared of them for quite some time. We can't let her go as an 'only' dog in the home. She must go into a home with another sweet, gentle, loving, and small breed dog. A positive note, is that she is very food motivated and you can start winning her heart by hand feeding her yummy treats! With outdoor access, she seems to be potty trained, but we don't know how it would go in an apt or condo? She is not one bit leash trained, but we do not want her walked out of the home for at least a few weeks till she has had practice with you in your safe yard or home. She thrashes on leash and definitely needs some work. Michi MUST have a home where dogs are allowed on the furniture because she absolutely loves to sleep during the day on the couch snuggled and burrowed under a throw blanket. At night, she likes to sleep on the bed with you. With lots of love, patience, and understanding, you will see Michi blossom into the absolute best dog ever!
