About HONEY BEAR hal

Honey bear is a senior lady looking for a retirement home after her owners could no longer care for her. She is house and crate trained and gets along with low key cats and dogs that give her her space. She likes being part of a pack but not actually interacting with her fur siblings. She came to rescue with two luxating patellas that required surgery. Her knees have healed well but due to her thyroid condition her back end has nuerological damage that results in difficulty walking. She can walk to go out to the bathroom and get where she needs to go but cannot do any distance or stairs. She is a medium size girl who loves to eat. While food is extremely motivating she will need her diet controlled to keep her from being overweight. Honey bear needs to take a twice daily medication for her thyroid and a once a day pain med.
