Female Anatolian Shepherd, whelped Sept. 20. Large Guard Dog for sheep and livestock, but kills chickens. Also escapes property. She was given to me by a previous farmer, but has not worked out on my farm. Good, alert guard; sweet dog; but came untrained to me and then I broke my leg and couldn't work with her myself. She will make a great LGD dog if trained - otherwise she's going to be shot by the cattle farmer next door when she goes into his fields. We have been unable to contain her other than putting her in the horse trailer.
