About Keeper

Keeper is a 4 1/2 year old Red Heeler Golden Retriever cross. My mom owned her for two and a half years and re-homed her due to changes in life circumstances. Keeper was successfully rehomed for one year and recently returned due to an incident with a chihuahua. Keeper gets along well with most dogs, but occasionally shows aggressive tendencies. For this reason, I do not recommend her to be in a home with cats or any other smaller animal. She loves children and is playful, but too big and energetic to recommend for kids under 5. She loves fetch and tug of war and long walks. Does not runaway as she loves her people once bonded. She is perfect on car rides and has gone motorhome tripping with me. She leads well with a gentle leader nose band but tends to pull on a leash without it. Keeper is fully house trained. She is a family dog and will interact with all ages happily. She loves being wherever you are and should not be kept isolated. She loves hugs and would be a lapdog if she could. She deserves an active dog loving family.
