We have had our adorable cat (Dolce) since December of 2017. We have all certified paperwork and his microchip paperwork as well (he was born in August of 2017). We have two daughters and we went and picked up Dolce from a Bengal breeder as a Christmas Surprise. He is very loving, very mild mannered and great with both kids and adults. Any time that we have our bedtime routine, play games, watch TV, eat dinner, etc.... Dolce is right there and wants to be close to the action. He sleeps most nights at the foot of our bed or our daughters bed and will be up to walk down the stairs with you each morning!! Unfortunately, within the last six months, he suffers from Chronic Pancreatic Insufficiency (IBD). This disease prevents him from properly digesting food, resulting in Diarrhea. Because of this condition he needs Royal Canin- hydrolized protein food with pancreatic enzymes sprinkled on each meal. From time to time, he will refuse to go in his litter box (recently more frequently). We cannot solve for why or what causes this random event. As sad is it is for us to put Dolce up for adoption, it seems to be the only option for our family right now. We live a very active lifestyle and are traveling very frequently (more so since recently moving from Louisiana to East Coast. Our kids have activities most week nights and some weekends so we are seldom home. Dolce needs someone to love on him, care for him and spend time with him in a more consistent schedule.
