About Jada

Jada is a sweet and gentle 10 year old cocker girl who came to us from a rural shelter after she was confiscated from abusive owners. This poor girl was in such horrible physical shape that at intake 2 roaches fell out of her ear !!!!! She was matted beyond belief, had bilateral cherry eyes, bilateral ear infection and we can go on and on and on. The good news is that she is now with us and this angel of a dog is in full recovery mode after multiple visits to the vet. Jada is both vision and hearing impaired but in no way does this slow her down and prevent her from enjoying her new lease on life or from chasing the ducks LOL . She loves to go for sauntering walks and enjoys spending time on the patio. Jada is easy going, loves attention, and LOVES treats. When awake, she enjoys being the center of attention and occasionally plays with toys. She greets her humans with a friendly wigglebutt when coming home from the store or work and she is housetrained too. Jada does have dry eyes so she requires eye drops put in 3x daily as well as thyroid medication- these are minor issues left over from her previous lack of care.
