About Moe

Moe is officially available for adoption to a pet home. Moe is a 1.5yr old high energy Chocolate Labrador. After several weeks of evaluation and vet visits we have determined Moe has Cerebellar Hypoplasia which keeps Moe from being a working candidate. This means Moe is not very coordinated, stairs and big steps up are a real struggle, and he is slow to learn new things. He's a very friendly boy but isn't always appropriate with how he meets new people (mouth wide open and all the labrador slobber). Moe does not understand doggy body language and makes even the most friendly dog uncomfortable so we do not recommend him for homes with other dogs. He is not good with cats or small prey size animals. We do not recommend Moe for homes with small children due to his mouthiness but he would be fine with older kids. Moe is house broken and crate trained. He is busy in the house but doesn't mess with your belongings and is good about staying off the furniture.
