Gluiness Hello. I have a 9 year-old (In June) black neutered GSP. We are not able to give him the attention he needs. Our kids are grown and out of the house. He does not get the activity he used to get. He still has the same drive, but after exercise he has a noticeable limp for an hour or two. We walk him or put him on the treadmill daily. But With less people home, coupled with less activity he is getting very anxious and is barking and wining very often. Lately, he is starting to pee in the house. He has never done this and we find ourselves having to lock him up. We are looking for a place that has a large area to run and get where he can get the needed attention. He is very good with midsized to large dogs. Little dogs bother him. He is also good with cats, as he currently lives with two. He is not mean, but he is a bull. At times he does not know his strength and just goes and if something is in his way, it goes down. He is not a dog for small children. All of his shots are up to date.
