About Ava

Ava is a beautiful 2 year old Whippet mix weighing approx 29 pounds. This young lady is very smart, a quick learner, and true to her breed is very, very affectionate. She gets along with all of her foster's dogs (after a couple days' 'breaking in 'period) and especially seems to like larger dogs who will play with her. In fact, Ava will play and play and play some more so another playful dog in her new home would be a great fit. Since Ava is a sight hound, she is quite prey driven towards smaller animals, and because of this she wouldn't be suitable in a home with small pets such as cats, birds, rodents, etc. She seems to do well with children who are respectful of her space, but should be supervised at all times with them. Ava requires a 6 ft fence or a very active or dog sport home if in a apartment. Ava is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and is heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $375.
