Carmen is a sweet, mellow girl who was dealt a rough hand in life. Once a happy-go-lucky dog she began shutting down and growing fearful during her time at a high intake shelter. Carmen is still afraid of a lot of things in this big, scary world but she's growing a little bit more comfortable and confident as she realizes she safe & loved now. We think a sweet, confident male resident dog/playmate will do wonders to help Carmen get her groove back! Carmen is a world-class snuggler and enjoys following her foster mom everywhere. She loves getting belly rubs, playing with her chew toys, and taking long naps on the couch. Carmen also walks very well on a leash but prefers quieter suburban or rural areas to bustling city life. She is house trained and free roam trustworthy at her foster home. Carmen is 3-4 years old and weights 45 lbs. Apply for this sweetie at www.milehighcanine.org. Her adoption fee is $400. Requirements: -Confident, sweet resident male dog -People who are home often. You can apply for Carmen at https://milehighcanine.org/forms-and-applications/mhcr-adoption-application/.
