About Sassy

*****Sassy is an outside adoption, she is not with our rescue, we are assisting another family finding a home for a dog in need, please use the contact info at the bottom of this post for more information regarding Sassy, Thanks!!******* Lil' Miss Sassy Pants was on her way to the shelter because her owner could no longer take care of her. The woman had just given up 2 cats and Sassy was on her way as well when a kind hearted family took her in. They have been rescuing for years on their own helping out needy dogs and cats, so kind. Sassy has settled in well to their home. She has fit in well with the other dogs and cats, and is fine with children as well. She does prefer male dogs, or of course would be fine being her own little Diva self in her future home as the only dog. Sassy was loved by her previous owner, but the lady just could no longer care for her. Her nails were overgrown and embedded in her paws, it was painful for her to walk but that has been taken care of and Sassy is doing much better. Her bigger issue now...no pun intended...is her oh so pleasantly plump physique. Sassy is indeed fat and sassy(is that still politically correct to say?) Well, I am a bit fat and sassy myself so if I am not offended I am OK with it. Bottom line, Sassy needs to shed a few to get back to her girlish figure! She cannot free feed since she will gobble everything up asap. She needs more controlled meals, smaller portions and a bit more activity in her life(don't we all?) Hey-she will be a perfect pal for the post Covid routine for a loving family looking to lose that extra 15 pounds, right? Sassy is a sweet girl, will be 10 years old on June 21st and is ready for her happily ever after. She is a great snuggler, a terrific little companion and just hoping for a loving home that will have tons of time to spend with her.
