NO ONE HAS EVEN INQUIRED ABOUT ME....WHY....I AM ADORABLE!!!!! Oh my what a furrowed brow! My name is Nevin. Nevin is of Latin origin, and the meaning of Nevin is: 'holy, sacred; little bone; servant of the saint's disciple'. I am a 2yr old Black Mouth Cur/PB Terrier mix. The history of the black mouth cur is relatively muddled. They're known to have lived in the southeastern United States since the 1800s, but nobody knows exactly where or when the first ones were produced. Many breed advocates point to Tennessee or Mississippi as the most likely birthplace of the breed, but details of the breed's origin remain elusive. They were likely developed to be multi-purpose working dogs, and they excel at most of the basic tasks farm dogs are expected to perform. My Breed is fun-loving, energetic, loyal, and brave, black mouth curs have a lot going for them. We are excellent working dogs. I was rescued by Alone No More Dog Rescue in February from the e-list at Maricopa County. I have been learning some manners while relaxin' at Heidi's Village. I am now really ready for my forever home. I am low energy, dog friendly and good with car rides. As you can tell by my furrowed brow I take a bit to warm up...but when I do look out! I am neutered, have all my shots and am microchipped. I would do best in an adult only home. I am located in Phoenix AZ.
