About BOOTS

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Boots came to us from the Nogales shelter where he was at risk due to an injury (possibly hit by car?) and a somewhat grumpy temperament resulting from being in pain. After coming into rescue Boots had a few seizures but has done well on meds and has not any for the past month or so. He has healed completely from his injuries and is doing very well overall in his foster home. He is very good with dogs and people though would do better with adults or older children because he is particular about how he is handled and can be a bit dramatic about expressing his dislikes. He estimated 9-10 years old is a really nice size at 22-23#. He may be a wire haired dachshund based on his size and shape. He is learning to walk on a leash, and is pretty well house trained with a dog door. He loves playing with toys and is not an excessive barker. He is looking for a loving forever family!!
