About Captain

Please meet Captain. He is a 3 yr old spaniel mix and as sweet as can be. Captain is the absolute embodiment of pure joy. You've never met a living thing so absolutely care free. He loves naps and food the most but when he does get a wild hair to play give him room and watch him pounce! Captain had seizures as a puppy and as a result has a neurological disorder that has caused him loss of vision and some special twitches we like to call his glitch. Despite all that, nothing holds this boy back. He is potty trained, kennel trained, knows basic commands and does well on a leash. The only thing you'll ever catch this boy doing naughty is using that keen nose of his to sniff out the dog food to get some extra snacks! He is good with other dogs of all ages and energy levels though he prefers a slow pace of life. He is cat tested and approved and does well with children although we think homes with older children will be best as when he gets excited he can be a bit of a bull in a china shop. Captain has one of the biggest personalities we have ever seen in a dog and we can't wait to find the family to match it. Captain is a very sweet boy ready for his new, well deserved forever home!
